Meet the LG Chocolate; and I Thought "Zune" Was Bad!
Submitted by Matthew Haglund on Tue, 08/01/2006 - 13:22.
![]() First, Microsoft announced its jump into the MP3 player market a few weeks back; now, or so it would seem, Baby Bell Verzion Wireless has decided to partake in a little digital music fun as well. Microsoft and Verizon? Great, who's next? The funniest part of Verizon's announcement to me was definitely the name of the new player: Chocolate. Zune was one thing, but Chocolate? I can't really see myself asking my friends if they would like to take a peek at my new "Chocolate". "Hey Bob, you like my Chocolate?" The unit will download music from the Verizon network which is pretty convenient I guess. The unit also includes a mobile telephone, digital camera, video player, GPS functionality and storage space that has been reported as comparable to a low-end iPod Nano. The phone will be available on August 7th for a price of around $150. Yum! »
